Myu "Mew" Azama

Myu "Mew" Azama was born December 26, 1986 in Hiroshima and grew up in Okinawa Prefecture. She is an idol actress in Japan. At 169 cm,(5'6 1/2") she is a tall girl by Japanese standards. Her hobbies include dance, calligraphy, and making sweets. Her agency is VERTEX.

Her first internationally-noticed role was as the amazonian Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. The show also allowed her to release a CD single that contained two songs (like the rest of the Senshi), "Lovely Yell" and "Miracle Dance Night". She models in the Japanese Seventeen magazine.

Azama, who portrays Sailor Jupiter in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is thought of by her co-stars as highly girlish and demure, the opposite of her forthright and tomboyish character.
Azama signs her name "Mew," using Roman characters. I was named from Koizumi Kyoko's famous song 'MEW of dawn'. So, the inscription is also MEW"
