Virginia Madsen was of the hottest stars in the 1980s.
But now "The Haunting in Connecticut" has brought her to the attention of a whole new fan base.
Virginia was born on born September 11, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois.
And yes she is the sister of actor Michael Madsen.
Virginia has been in a ton of movies, everything from Dune to Candyman to her critically acclaimed performance in the 2004 film, Sideways.
But she was also in one of my favorite movies of all time, The Prophecy with Elias Koteas, Christopher Walken, Eric Stoltz, and Viggo Mortensen.
I love that movie.
The Haunting in Connecticut is a movie based on the allegedly true story of a family's encounter with the paranormal in Southington, Connecticut.
And this film reunites Virginia with her Prophecy co-star Elias Koteas.
Virginia plays Sara Campbell in the film, and some of the critics say that she resues the movie.
"The Haunting in Connecticut "came in second in it's opening week, right behind "Monsters vs. Aliens".
Her next film will be in "Amelia", a film about the legendary American pilot Amelia Earhart.
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty will be marrying her fiance Raj Kumdra in October of this year, but until then, they are renovating a 5 million pound Surrey home at St George's Hill.
Shilpa seems to be getting into the country life, saying that she can't wait to start raising a family there.
The home isn't the only thing Shilpa and Raj co-own.
They are also co-owners of the Rajasthan Royals, a franchise cricket team that represents the state of Rajasthan in the IPL (Indian Premier League).
Last year, the Royals won the inaugural DLF IPL T-20 Tournament.
Of course Shilpa isn't the only Bollywood celeb to invest in the Twenty20 format of the game.
Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Preity Zinta also have interests in the Twenty20 format.
Shilpa also has two movies coming out this year, "The Man" and "The Desire".
Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu is all over the news these days.
First, she seems to be starting a trend by not wearing make up.
Actually Ameesha Patel started it first, but you know, I wonder how many Hollywood actresses could pull off the no make up look?
And Bipasha is playing Diva again.
At Thursday night's launch of Shiamak Davar's sports wear collection, she was a no show.
Even though Bipasha is the company's brand ambassador and she was in Mumbai.
Rumor has it that she didnt attend because Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan were also invited to the event, so she was afraid she wouldn't get solo media coverage there.
Of course Bipasha's spokesperson denied this.
Bipasha has several movies coming out this year including Aa Dekhen Zara (a romantic sci-fi action thriller movie), Pankh, Lamhaa, Sob Choritro Kalponik and Chaimera.
